For each generation, the best individual will be selected to form an elite population that is the basis of the migration operator. In order to prevent the elite population from being destroyed, it is only treated with preservation rather than crossover and mutation operators. The optimal solution of each population in the whole evolutionary process will not be destroyed. Inserting genes from elite populations into evolving populations is easy to supplement genetic diversity, which is beneficial for fitness function to search for the optimal solution in a wider range.
